Dump Truck Driver (Class A CDL)

Full-time · Calera, AL

Haul gravel, dirt, sand and stone from quarries to job sites across Central Alabama with our well-maintained end dump trucks.

Responsibilities

Safely operate end dump trucks and trailers to and from job sites
Load and unload materials safely
Follow all traffic laws and DOT regulations
Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance (fluids, tires)
Communicate with dispatch and crews to keep work flowing

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Ability to read maps, directions and site plans
Basic mechanical knowledge
Attention to detail and safety
Team player with good communication

Heavy Equipment Operator

Full-time · Calera, AL

Operate excavators, dozers, skid steers, backhoes and compactors on residential and commercial site work.

Responsibilities

Excavate, move and grade earth to plan
Clear land and build pads
Load trucks and assist with site cleanup
Basic equipment maintenance and daily inspections
Follow all safety protocols in a drug-free workplace

Qualifications

3+ years operating heavy construction equipment preferred
Experience with excavator, dozer and skid steer
Grading to stakes / plan is a plus
Reliable transportation
Drug-free

Working at CT Hauling

CT Hauling & Excavating has worked out of Calera, Alabama since 2002. Our dump trucks haul gravel, crushed stone, sand and dirt from the quarries around Calera to job sites across Central Alabama, and our crews excavate, grade and clear land for homeowners, builders and contractors.

We look for people in three kinds of work:

CDL dump truck drivers – hauling bulk material from the quarry to the job site.
Heavy equipment operators – excavators, dozers, loaders and skid steers on excavating, grading and clearing jobs.
Diesel mechanics – keeping the trucks and equipment running.
